I had an assignment to go and photograph a privately owned Christmas Tree lot and see how sales were doing this year. These are my favorite two.

Thanksgiving

I had an assignment to photograph the Mustard Seed Ministries feeding the needy. It made me very thankful for what God has provided for my family. Happy Thanksgiving!

1st post...

I have been working as a freelance photojournalist for about 4 years now and figured I would finally start a blog. There have been a few things on my mind that have been going on in the photojournalism community that I would love to discuss, and will, but just at a later time. For now, for my first post, I just wanted to thank my wife and family for supporting me and encouraging me to stick through the tough times of the newspaper and magazine industry and to trust God. I am now making a living taking photos and doing what I love...capturing the world with my camera, and documenting history.
